your race or running product can be promoted in the Chargers Newsletter, on this website, or at a Chargers event.

Event Sponsorship
The Chargers conducts over fifty competitive and
recreational events each year, most of which are free and open to the
general public. If your company would like to promote its brand, its
products, or its services in association with any of these events, contact

Charger Newsletter Advertising
Full page ads may be puchased for inclusion in the award winning Chargers newsletter.
The circulation is (at this writing) about 1,300 households, mostly in the greater Syracuse area.
Ads must be of an appropriate topic (usually road running and track and field related, at the discretion of the
newsletter editor). Rates are $150 per
month for a full page for commercial content, and $75 per month for a race application. Contact

Website Calendar Postings
Requests for postings for the Charger event calendar may be made by emailing the webmaster at the address at the
bottom of this page or filling out the information requested here. The webmaster
makes the determination as to whether the requested event is appropriate (location, interest, etc.), but most events
are accepted. Race name, location, date, time, point of contact email address and/or phone number, and race website
is needed to provide a listing. If requested, a link to a race application residing on another server will be made.
These postings are FREE.

Application File Hosting
Single page applications may be accepted for storage on the site for a $25 donation to the Chargers.
Application pages are to be in text, PDF or HTML format (or they will be converted as such) and are limited to 100
kbytes in size. The application will be linked in the Calendar of Events, as any other would.
Applications will remain on the site for up to three months. Please contact the webmaster at

Race Website Writing Services
As a service to the running community, single page websites may be written and stored for an event. The director provides
the relevant information,
including an application, race details, logos if available, and a website is created and hosted for the race.
The site will be active for a time period that you desire, including time after the race to accomodate results listings.
We do NOT assign a URL address for the page (for example, www.myracename.com), but provide you with the link.
A $200 donation to the Chargers is requested for race website writing services. Please contact
